Ten Days (and counting)

Wow. In ten days I'll be home. I'm so excited for this trip!

The one week we will be in Spokane is going to be absolutely CRAZY. We've got so many people that we need to see that we are triple booking every day! We arrive at 10:40 Pacific time Friday night (Yikes- almost two in the morning our time!!!). The craziness begins early the next morning, with two house visits scheduled (one with my grandparens and one with Greg's grandma) and the afternoon and evening spent with my Dad. I cannot believe that I've been a momma to Bella for a year and a half and my daddy still hasn't met her! Anyway, Sunday we're going to church at our old church, visiting with friends there, and then having a huge welcome home bash with more friends and our whole family! Fortunately, I have a very outgoing child! She'll fit right in. Monday we're scheduling more playdates with other Guatemamas and then Tuesday heading up to the Lake to see my step-dad, brother Trevor, SIL Misty, and nephew Brandon. We're packing all of our snow equipment because there is still TONS of snow at the lake! Wahoo! We'll be there for two days and hope to get a lot of relaxing in. After that, it's back to town for a busy, busy last day. We've got to go to my mom's office for a visit, coffee with my old small group from church, and to the vet clinic where I used to work to see all my friends there! And then we're on a plane homeward-bound early the next morning!

I wish we had more time to spare, but in a way it's kind of nice to pack it all into just a few days. I think we'll have opportunity to spend a couple of hours with just about everyone that cares about us and has been praying for us for so long. Can't wait to see you all SOON!

remember, in all the excitement and visiting, to sleep. Also, make sure that you have a great time.

We miss you friend.

All of us in Spokane are anxiously waiting - Bella has so many friends and relatives to meet who only want to love her! It seems a million years ago that we were all gathered looking at pics of a tiny infant before you left for Guatemala for what we thought would be a couple of months, all of us excited to have this beautiful girl home - well things have changed since then but the same group of people are still waiting to meet that gorgeous baby who is now an even more gorgeous toddler. We are counting the days here too!!!

Love

Gamma (or Maka as Bella has taken to calling me....)

Hey, why don't you sell your house while you're there? Just an idea if you hadn't thought of it!
