Trip Pics

We had a great time last week in Spokane! The trip was very emotional for me, and in many ways gave me some much needed closure. We were busy, busy, busy! Bella did great all week, considering that her schedule went right out the window on day one! She liked being the center of attention and meeting all the new people but she LOVED her papa and her uncle Trevor especially! There was tons of snow at the lake and both of girls spent lots of time playing in it. For those of you who haven't been to Priest Lake, the pictures don't do it justice. It truly is one of the most beautiful places on earth. Enjoy the pictures!

With cousins Sarah and Clare, who loved her to pieces!

Check out Irene's new do! Here we are with our hair stylist in Spokane, Debra.

Great-grandma Clara, and cousins Darla, Heather, and Lacey

We had so much fun visiting with our friends at the Children's museum in Spokane! I'm so sad that we won't get to play with these guys all the time! Bella loves her friends, and I adore their moms! My friends Lisa and Julie, each with two children from Guatemala...

Gorgeous Priest Lake

Ooops!

The Lake

My sister-in-law Misty, Trevor, and Bella. Misty loved her new niece and even gave her baths every night while we were at the lake!

With my friend Marilee, who was the first person I met at our church, Eastpoint, in Spokane. She led the small group I attended and faithfully prayed for us throughout our process. What an amazing group of women. Many of the women that now attend that small group weren't there when I was there, but they all know our story and have been praying for us all along. Thank you my dear friends and prayer warriors!

With my friends Charity and Wendy at the clinic where I used to work!

Bella and I with Irene and my mom, all of us wearing our new Priest Lake sweatshirts that Papa bought us!

Hi Sharon and the Freemans.
We have been waiting for photos from your trip. Cheryl said that your week was very hectic but very fun. Everybody looked so happy to see y'all. The pictures are wonderful.

I was struck by the two photos of Priest Lake. We talked so much about that place, even looked at it with GoogleEarth. The earth scientist in me just says, "heavenly". It looks even prettier than you described.

We here in NC are so pleased that you were able to go back to WA & ID and see all your friends again. It must have been wonderful on so many levels. It was great to see mom and pop again and Bella looked like she loved everybody.

What a wonderful trip. We can't wait to see you in a few weeks.
