We have an appointment on Saturday to have our family pictures done by a photographer who participates in Celebrating Adoption. I'm very excited about this shoot because the photographer that we found, Stephanie Tu, is amazingly talented and I know these pictures are going to be beautiful! Stephanie is based in Richmond so we'll be driving there early Saturday morning to meet up with her in a local park. Yesterday, Irene and I spent the afternoon shopping, trying to find clothes for us all to wear. That's a whole other entry in itself (meaning there will be more shopping today as well!).
I've really been struggling with Bella's hair lately. Her hair is still filling in, so she has a lot of new growth that is uneven and doesn't pull back nicely. I have wanted to avoid giving her bangs because, quite frankly, I didn't want to have to be cutting them all the time. But, the neat freak in me won out over the lazy person and we got Bella's hair cut for the first time yesterday. She did great! We did give her a little bit of bangs and evened out the back, and even I can admit that she looks cute. Don't you agree?
Bella was really fascinated by the person sitting right behind me getting the perm. She kept pointing and saying "hair, hair" as if she couldn't figure out what had happened to the lady's hair!
A little nervous
Resorting to bribery with french fries to keep her still
Yep- still cute!

Yes she is still cute as ever! But I still think the absolute cutest is her pigtails!
