Cuddle time

This afternoon, when Bella woke up from her nap she was being very clingy. Irene and I were in the kitchen working on prepping for dinner and I needed to have two hands, so I had Irene run and one of my pouch slings that I used in Guatemala. I wasn't sure if Bella would tolerate sitting in it, but I wanted to give it a try since it is definitely the easiest way to hold on to her and still get work done! As soon as Irene handed the sling to me, Bella started motioning that she wanted in it! I guess she was feeling insecure and needed some extra attention and contact. I kept her in the sling for over an hour, she was content, and I loved every second of it. I love cuddling with my baby, and the times that it happens these days are few and far between. Gone are the days of putting the baby in the sling and heading out for the afternoon! We go everywhere in the car now, which is much, much warmer than outside, but definitely lacking in the cuddling department. Anyway, we both enjoyed our snuggle time today :)
