It's like I never left,

except that I keep crying over everything I see or hear or smell because I've missed it so much. I started crying the instant our plane began final descent and the gorgeous Guatemalan landscape came into view. I can't fully describe what I was feeling in that moment. I was getting my first view of home.

The rest is awesome. Melissa is amazing. Madi is adorable. I love it all. I'm never coming back. Just so you know.

Ahhhhh, it is such a beautiful country and I can only imagine all the awesome bonding it had to have felt when you got there.
So glad you were able to make this trip. We too look so forward to when we can get back there.

So so wonderful! I wouldn't come back, either. In fact, I may not! Mel, do you want a permanent housemate? Because you just might get one in 2 weeks. :)

Do you know what would make your trip even better! Ashleigh, John Mark, and of course Michael! Just think the fun we could have in the ole tuk-tuk, but it probably would not put John Mark to sleep at this point. We could finally get you to eat Ceviche out of the back of the truck on Santa Lucia. And of course, we could go on exciting adventures throughout the city. I especially like the House of the Giants! Oh, the memories. When is your next trip? We want to go!
