Bella is doing great, if a little extra clingy and fussy as she adjusts to her new surroundings. We've been trying to find a routine that works for all of us, and I think we're almost there. As Irene pointed out the other day, since I'm now officially a SAHM (stay-at-home-mom), my days pretty much revolve around cooking, cleaning, and laundry. But I love every second of it and wouldn't have it any other way. I love having my kids with me all day, and I love having all the time in the world to decide what we're having for dinner, instead of the everyone's-starving-find-something-quick ways of the olden days. I'm LOVING Virginia. It's absolutely beautiful here and we have deer in our back yard every morning! Both Irene and Bella love going outside and walking through the woods behind our house. Several times on their afternoon adventures they've surprised a family of deer that have nested down for the day. It's such fun to see their rosy cheeks and hear all about it when they come in. The house is slowly getting put together. It's difficult to get much done during the day while Greg is at work and Irene is doing schoolwork. I'm trying to get the house clean and organized, but I am shadowed by an eighteen month old who has an opposite purpose!
