She's definitely my child!

I love the skin of chicken or turkey really almost more than the meat itself. I have passed this love on to my child as Bella loves the skin too (or "kin" as she says it). Today she was eating a sandwich and as she took a bite, the crust pulled away from the bread in a long strip. After she set her sandwich down, I pulled off the long strip of crust and set it aside since it would be awkward for her to pick up and eat it dangling like that. When it was time for the next bite, I picked up the sandwich and started to hand it to her. "No, Mama. Kin! Kin!" And she grabbed the strip of crust and stuffed it into her mouth, savoring it.

And deep within myself I cheered that I don't have to peel the crust of her sandwiches!

So cute. It is amazing to me so much how our children are truly meant for each of our families in so many ways. Blessings.
