Greg called the embassy and was able to get our appointment scheduled over the phone. We were a little skeptical (after what happened yesterday), so Greg called back a second time. He spoke to a different person who happily confirmed our appointment is set for 7:15 am on November 7th! What a great way to celebrate Bella's 18 month birthday!
WAHOOOO!!! God is SO good!!!

So are you coming home on the 9th? I'm amazed at Greg's skills!! Praise God for parting the 'red sea' of the US embassy phone attempts!! That was no easy feat!!!

so happy to hear that in one week one day, you will be there at that OH SO EXCITING embassy day! usually people say, that embassy day was a lot of build up over nothing, but, there will be NOTHING less than spectacular for everyone involved for you to be sitting in those little chairs waiting for your number to be called!!! i just know colleen will cry (heck, i'll be crying here in chicago!) and when you post next thursday that US passport w/ Visa is IN HAND... oh PRAISE THE LORD will resound all over this hemisphere!!!

Well, here I am crying all over again. I am just so thrilled this leg of the journey is about to end and you all will be beginning the next phase of the journey....at home, as a family. WOW! A part of our heart has been there with you all this time, so it feels as if, in a way, this is a milestone for our family, too. We love you so much and cannot wait to plan our visit to VA in 2008.
