Fun it was not. We had a new driver who didn't have a decent car seat (Irene and I literally had to tie the shoulder straps together to hold Bella in the seat!) and took us to the wrong visa photo booth, making it necessary to do that twice with a cranky and tired baby! The passport office itself was an adventure. Just trying to entertain Bella and prevent her from going into unauthorized areas was hard enough. Not to mention that she hadn't had lunch yet and really needed a nap. Yep, good times. We were at the passport office a little over two hours. Ugh!
But, we walked away with a passport! Well, technically, our attorney has it, but I have two photo copies! Wahoo!
And I did get a classic shot of her at the first visa photo place. The moment I set her on the stool in front of the white background, she absolutely lost it. She's awefully pitiful, but so cute!

loving that you are blogging so much. I check you out every day sister !!! It won't be long now !!!!! YIPPEE !!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just don't care how grouchy Bella was. SHE HAS A PASSPORT!!! That's all that matters. :)
sounds a lot like mine passport day
minus the new driver....just the wiggly cry-y baby :)
YAY - Passport Day!!! Another step down...I am so excited for you! Love the pic of her. I'm sure this all seems surreal. Can't say exactly when it starts feeling real...sometimes I am still in awe that God has given me a daughter after all these years, and she's been home 18 mo.!
Hope the rest of your process is super quick. You have a lot to do, don't you?...packing & downsizing after so long...but it's very exciting! :-)
Blessings,
Beth

Awwww, Bella! I am so glad it was a successful day! The picture is too cute!
she is such a doll!!! Can't wait to meet her in person. :)
Sounds like my Passport Day too...
I had a new driver with no carseat either. And, he had to call several times to find the Photo place. UGH...
It seems like the longest day...
I finally insisted we stop for lunch at McDonalds...
I am so glad that your Passport Day came so quickly!
Bella looks beautiful while crying.
Poor Sweetie...Love, Jennifer & Sophia
