Greg arrives at 12:30 Monday and I am SO excited to see him! It's been four months since his last visit, which amazingly, isn't even the longest stretch we've had between visits. I'm so glad that this insanity of living in different countries is coming to a close!
Bella's visit with the Embassy doctor is scheduled for Monday morning, so she and I will hang around Guatemala City afterwards until it's time to pick up Daddy at the airport. It's such a treat to be able to pick him up this time, since normally his flight comes in either too early or too late to make it possible with a baby.
We've got a busy week ahead of us. Tuesday, my friend Melissa has volunteered to take some family portraits for us, so we'll be running around town trying to find good backdrops for the pictures! Wednesday, of course, is our Embassy visa appointment in the morning. We're also hoping to stop at the Westin afterwards to say hello to another family that we've shared this journey with. Thursday, we're taking a trip to Chichicastenango to visit the market and show Greg a little bit of the Guatemalan countryside. And finally, Friday, our flight leaves Guatemala at 7:30 in the morning! Talk about whirlwind! Hang on folks! It's gonna be a wild ride! :)

Your giving me chills. So glad your hubby will be with you tomorrow. Can't believe the time has actually arrived. Have a fantastic day!!!!
This is so exciting. All I can think of is how we all felt when we were at this stage of Katie and Eliot coming home. I know this is going to be a crazy week but soon you will be able to relax in your own home and start getting used to life in the States again.
Sharon, your post brings tears to my eyes...
I am so excited for your "whirlwind". You will be home before you know it. Enjoy your last few days in Guatemala, esp. now that you can share this time with Greg.
Hugs,
Beth
