-----I had decided last week that I was going to start a low-carb diet to get my PCOS under control and hopefully shed a few pounds before being re-united with Greg in a couple months. Yesterday we discovered that there is a bakery right across the street from our new house! (Sigh)
-----Our new bathroom is a spider haven, which is both fascinating and terrifying to me. The other day I counted five spiders (think big Guatemalan spiders!) over head in the rafters. Irene went in armed with a broom this morning and hasn't emerged yet.
-----I have re-discovered Orange Spice tea and am quite enjoying it!
-----When I do get to go home, can we all have a huge party and set off fireworks? A celebration will never be the same to me after living here if there aren't fireworks!
-----I was blog hopping yesterday and came across one where the Guatemama was lamenting the fact that yesterday was Friday because that means nothing was going to happen on her case for two days. I used to think this way too. Now, after being in limbo for so many months, I've come to a new place. You see, Friday is the day that "The Bachelor" is on. "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" (on Sunday nights) are the two things that really get me through the week and give me something to look forward to. So, instead of looking forward to Mondays I dread them, knowing that it will be another FIVE days until we get our next dose of unrealistic fantasy world dating!
-----And along those lines, instead of getting a PGN out phone call, I think it would be really great if Colleen just came over and offered me a rose so I can advance to the next level!!!!

I'm so glad we're friends. I appreciate you, goofball.
BAH HA HA. you crack me up sharon. i hear ya on the low carb/pcos :( i did so great - shed 60 after garrett born... insert adoption weight gain - arghh... trying to jump back on the low carb/workout (both were key for me when i was making progress). well, better let you go so you can go check on irene ;)
hugs,
angie
I told you that you really should start watching Big Brother...another one of those stupid unrealistic reality shows that I like so much. It's on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays....I'm telling you...being spread out like that helps my week go by much faster AND I get to watch 2 shows on Sunday. Oh well, BB is almost over...maybe you should check out Survivor China that starts in a couple of weeks.

Too cute...especially the rose idea. Praying for yall, Esther (FTC)
Too funny...

You are in our thoughts and prayers!
Praying for you and for Guatemala on this very important day.
Well? Did Irene ever come out of the bathroom? Good grief, woman, don't keep us in suspense.
You are insane lady !! Too funny ! I am a Big Brother gal myself ! You don't know what your missing !
I hear you on the PCOS thing, I sooo need to lose this "adoption weight". Resist the bakery.... you can do it !!!!
"Sharon, will you accept this rose?"
hehehehe
Hey, do not give in to the Big Brother pressure. That show gives me the willies. The Bachelor/ette, however, I can live with. The best part is the serious cat fights that break out over a guy these ladies have known for...what?...two weeks? That is high drama, friend.
Sorry to hear about the spiders and the bakery. No house is perfect, I guess. Maybe you could do a little advertising for the bakery and convince the spiders to move over there instead of building a commune in your bathroom.
Im allergic to yeast so Im a vastwasteland of thoughts if you do want lowcarb ideas.
NOT that Im suggesting you do :)
in fact Im bad at sticking to it and I swell when I eat yeast/gluten.

I love your positive outlook on things. Praying that we both get that rose soon. :)
Sharon, it's about time! I'm ready for the new post from the wall that says "OUT OF PGN!"
Still praying for you, friend.
