Irene caught a butterfly yesterday and held it in her palm while we admired it. It was a stunning creature with transparent wings that gleamed with a dusting of gold. As I looked from the butterfly to the girl who held it, I rejoiced in her own metamorphosis from girl-child to young woman. Irene has had her own struggles throughout this adoption process and it is wonderful to see her emerging as a beautiful, faith-filled girl who is absolutely a new creation in Christ. I am so proud of you, Irene!
Greg has also had an incredible transformation! He arrived safely in Virginia last week and started his new job on Monday. Every night, he tells stories of his day and I can just hear the joy in his voice. What an answered prayer this new position is! It really is true that the most important thing is to enjoy what you do!
I'm thrilled to see these changes in my family. This year has been hard on all of us, but we're emerging as new creatures, gleaming with a dusting of gold!

So happy for your family Sharon. It seems as if everything is coming together and the only piece missing is for you all to be enyoying it all together at your new home. Praying every day for that to be in His plans for you very soon.
Love it, friend!!
You are lucky to have such a wonderful life, a wonderful husband and two wonderful daughters! What precious gifts. Y'all rock!

Sharon,
I have never posted a comment before, but I just had to. Your last couple of posts have been amazing. To see God shine through you is so wonderful. You are an amazing person, to allow God to work so totally through this situation. I am praying that your whole family can be together in one place soon!
