Flies

Yes, flies. Odd entry subject, I know. But I want all of my friends and family and all of their friends and family to know what it really is like here in Antigua. There are a lot of flies. They are constantly buzzing around our heads and our food and are just generally pesky. And they carry diseases and parasites, so we're all extra aware of them. Anyway, Irene had had it "up to there" a couple days ago and began a personal quest to rid our bedroom of each and every fly. This afternoon she killed an amazing FORTY-ONE pesky houseflies and one gigantic, left-over from the age of the dinosaurs, fly. Well done, mi hija!
